Suzanne Gray is the Project Manager for TIX Education Specialists, LLC. Suzanne is a graduate of the University of Illinois and began her work serving students and community members at Rape Advocacy Counseling and Education Services (RACES) in Urbana, Illinois. While at RACES Suzanne provide crisis intervention, medical advocacy and prevention education to K-12 students, worked with urban and rural school districts to develop and improve response to sexual harassment, assault and bullying and coordinated the Child Abuse Prevention Program in conjunction with the University of Illinois.
Following her work at RACES, Suzanne joined the Training Institute of the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA). While at ICASA, she trained community, campus and systems based advocates on crisis intervention, medical response, sexual assault dynamics, legal advocacy and prevention. She also led state and local work around PREA in adult and juvenile facilities
and designed a curriculum to create effective sexual assault response programs in juvenile justice facilities that she presented in multiple states.
Most recently Suzanne has held the position of Sexual Assault Response Coordinator at the Oregon Attorney General Sexual Assault Task Force. While at SATF Suzanne facilitated training for local and national law enforcement and provided training and technical assistance to local law enforcement, advocates and prosecutors. Suzanne’s work in both rural and urban settings as well in community based and systems based advocacy informs her approach to sexual assault response and advocacy. Suzanne is focused on innovative, creative, sensitive and student centered approaches to sexual assault response and advocacy and brings her passion and experience to TIX Education Specialists.
