This training offers participants an opportunity to get a holistic grasp on responsibilities under Title IX and child-abuse reporting that oftentimes is spread across multiple trainings. Not only will participants get information on compliance mandates, but participants will also be informed on trauma-informed and student-centered best practices and how those frameworks fit into Title IX and larger student response. 20 hours of video instruction in addition to weekly office hours.

• Understand holistic topics of Title IX including athletics, sexual harassment, single-sex education, pregnant and parenting students, retaliation, and gender identity.

• Identify up-to-date information on emerging topics such as due process and equity, serving transgender students, dress codes, and more.

• Explain Title IX Coordinator duties in the K-12 setting.
