Join TIX Education Specialists for a 2-hour look at Title IX topics beyond sexual harassment.
Sexual harassment tends to be our most frequently reported Title IX conduct. While the 2020 updated Title IX regulations focus on sexual harassment and the umbrella of conduct that it encompasses, the U.S. Department of Education has been clear that they will continue to enforce non-sexual harassment Title IX issues surrounding athletics, pregnant and parenting students, and more. These issues will not require the use of the updated investigation and hearing process outlined in the updated regulations.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify non-sexual harassment Title IX topics.
- Understand the requirements of responding to these types of conduct.
- Better support students and staff whose experiences encompass these types of conduct.
